A musical about artist Andrée Arty who left her mark on artist life in Brussels in the 2e half of the 20e century, written by Lulu Aertgeerts, Timo Descamps and Sam Verhoeven.
Brief content
Andrée and Pierre Arty, two names who have undoubtedly made their mark on the art world. Andrée Arty as a musician, writer of poetry and, above all, inspirer of collage art. Pierre Arty as a stimulator of art and artistic creativity. Their unbridled search for beauty is now interpreted and expressed in this new musical. But above all, their innovative and creative minds are the sources of inspiration here.
“Arty” was commissioned by the musical training programme of the Royal Conservatory, Erasmus University College Brussels, in collaboration with the ‘Fondation Andrée et Pierre Arty’.
