The life story of Helene Fourment, the second wife of world-famous painter Peter Paul Rubens, written by Allard Blom and Sam Verhoeven.

Brief content

She sits alone in a room. She snoozes. And she watches. At herself. At how he once painted her. Her first husband and her great love: Peter Paul Rubens. A painting meant only for her eyes because the outside world would never understand it. The outside world would only look at it and then immediately form an opinion. But no one would look further. No one would really see the painting. No one would see the story behind the painting and experience the love.

She sits alone in a room. She snoozes. She watches. And we listen and watch along with her life and her love. All captured by that world-famous artist on world-famous canvases.
