Brief synopsis
Who hasn’t heard this world famous story from the One Thousand and One Nights? This musical is a spectacular, musical journey through the Middle East, packed with humour, dance, magical spells, a flying carpet and a crazy-ass Genie from a wonderful lamp.
In this story Aladdin, assisted by the Genie, attempts to win Princess Jasmine’s heart. A story in which love conquers all.

Productions
This brand new production of the well-known story of the street urchin “Aladdin” premièred in May 2019 in the Stadsschouwburg Antwerpen. It went on to the Ethias Arena in Hasselt and the Capitole Theater in Ghent.
There were plans to re-stage the production at the Kursaal in Ostend in the summer of 2020, but they were dropped because of the COVID crisis.
The lead roles were played by Giovanni Kemper, Ianthe Tavernier, Ann Van den Broeck and Kobe Van Herwegen, among others.
