Brief synopsis
The comeback of the year!
In the 90s, it was a girl group whose songs everyone could sing along to: BABES. But when one of the four singers dropped out, the successful formation fell apart in no time.
At a time when the past is more often relied upon to achieve success, Nathalie, Sanne and Pamela (the three remaining members of BABES) decide to get back together anyway, under the guidance of their former manager Guido, some 25 years later.
Each of them has their own reasons for doing so.
But is it still possible?
Is it possible to get back together after having hardly spoken to each other for 25 years?
And do the songs of the past still suit the women the three Babes have become?
Is being known today the same as being known in the 90s?
All eyes are on that one concert.

About BABES
BABES is a new Flemish musical comedy from the makers of “Lelies”, “Josephine B.” and “Goodbye Norma, Jeane” and plays exclusively at the Fakkeltheater for 4 weeks only.
Glossy roles are reserved for Bieke Ilegems – who is also making her musical debut -, Daisy Thys, Maike Boerdam and Peter Thyssen. They will be accompanied by a live orchestra conducted by Thomas Vanhauwaert.

Productions
The world premiere of “Babes” will take place on 14 October 2024 at the Fakkeltheater in Antwerp and will also be the baptism of fire for the new musical company Iskariot.
The leading roles will be performed by Bieke Ilegems, Maike Boerdam, Daisy Thys and Peter Thyssen.
