Brief synopsis
Bob and Jenny are close to despair. They’ve been on hundreds of dates. The people on the other side of the table look nothing like their photos on Instagram, or their Facebook is just a pack of lies. Both are in search of something genuine. But is it still possible? To go dating, in the Facebook and Instagram era, without any preconceptions whatsoever? On social media people often come across so much better than they actually are that they end up being incredibly disappointing on a date. Bob and Jenny take on the challenge! They subscribe to blinddate.nl and from then on, everything is under question.
“Blind Date” is a new Dutch musical comedy for anyone who was, is or dreams of being in love, and it takes a light-hearted look at the misfortunes and faux pas of the blind date. An evening of familiar scenarios, embarrassing situations and bizarre circumstances.
