Brief synopsis

After the date comes the wedding

Bank teller Bob gets down on one knee to ask dog groomer Jenny for her hand. We follow Bob and Jenny from the proposal to the wedding night. And because arranging a wedding is not easy, the two decide to put the organisation in the hands of Koos, a wedding planner with the company ‘Ja, ik wil’. But while Koos is busy organising the perfect wedding to the point of hysteria, he also confronts Bob and Jenny with the important questions surrounding a commitment like marriage.

What does marriage still say in an age when complete strangers marry each other on TV, only to divorce three weeks later? What does marriage actually say about love? And what do all those made-up traditions say at all about the love you feel? And then those thousand-and-one decisions…

If you survive your own wedding, it must be true love.
